Rachael M. Sparwasser focuses her practice on commercial litigation and wealth transfer planning for individuals with taxable estates, as well as Federal and State tax planning for corporate and business transactions. Ms. Sparwasser was named a "Rising Star" by Washington Law and Politics magazine in 2005 and 2006, a designation reserved for fewer than 2% of all licensed attorneys in the State of Washington who have been in practice for not more than ten years. In her litigation practice, she is experienced in case analysis and strategy, and various aspects of discovery. In her business practice, she has experience in entity formation, structuring partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies, business agreements, trust formation, and complex wealth transfer techniques. Ms. Sparwasser also has extensive experience in the area of construction subcontracts.
Admissions Ms. Sparwasser is licensed to practice law in Washington. Ms. Sparwasser is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Memberships She is a member of the King County Bar Association, Snohomish County Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, Washington Women Lawyers Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
Education Ms. Sparwasser received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Puget Sound in 1998 and her law degree (J.D.) from the University of Washington School of Law in 2001. She will receive an L.L.M. degree in Taxation also from the University of Washington School of Law in 2004. Ms. Sparwasser is admitted to practice in the State of Washington. |
