Lara M. Dethlefs is a trial attorney who focuses her law practice on family law, employment law, personal injury, and general commercial litigation. Ms. Dethlefs was named a “Rising Star” by Washington Law and Politics magazine in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, a designation reserved for fewer than 2% of all licensed attorneys in the State of Washington who have been in practice for not more than ten years. Ms. Dethlefs has been in practice since 1997. In 1993, Ms. Dethlefs served as an intern to Senator Robert Packwood (R OR) in Washington, D.C. In 1998, Ms. Dethlefs clerked for the Honorable Frederick B. Hayes, Judge, Pierce County Superior Court. Ms. Dethlefs is a graduate of Willamette University School of Law in Salem, Oregon.
